Dan directed R&D at Dow AgroSciences for 16 years, delivering a portfolio of products through well-targeted research and strategic collaborations. He managed a team of 2,000 researchers and engaged in more than 1,000 projects worldwide in crop protection, seeds, biotechnology, and adjacent agriculture technology spaces. His management of the innovation portfolio elevated Dow AgroSciences to a leading position in the crop protection chemicals industry and a rising position in the seeds and traits industry. His tenure included the commercialization of the most successful fermentation-derived active ingredient in the history of the agricultural market.
