AgroSpheres Adds Dan Kittle To Advisory Board

AgroSpheres announced that Daniel Kittle, Ph.D., formerly Vice President of R&D at Dow AgroSciences, has joined the company’s Advisory Board.

Dan directed R&D at Dow AgroSciences for 16 years, delivering a portfolio of products through well-targeted research and strategic collaborations. He managed a team of 2,000 researchers and engaged in more than 1,000 projects worldwide in crop protection, seeds, biotechnology, and adjacent agriculture technology spaces. His management of the innovation portfolio elevated Dow AgroSciences to a leading position in the crop protection chemicals industry and a rising position in the seeds and traits industry. His tenure included the commercialization of the most successful fermentation-derived active ingredient in the history of the agricultural market.

These advisors include Mark Kester, Ph.D., co-founder of AgroSpheres and Director of the nanoSTAR Institute at the University of Virginia; Per Falholt, Ph.D., former Executive Vice President of R&D at Novozymes; Todd Abraham, Chief Innovation Officer at the Cronos Group; and Kelly Smith, Ph.D., Head of Bioprocessing at Joyn Bio.
