AgroSpheres, Inc. and GreenLight Biosciences, Inc. have entered into a research collaboration to study the delivery of GreenLight’s double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) using AgroSpheres’ proprietary bioparticle platform. AgroSpheres’ platform consists of a small, spherical cell, lacking chromosomes that can encapsulate dsRNA and enhance its delivery for crop protection. The bioparticle can shield dsRNA from environmental conditions, including RNases that would otherwise degrade the dsRNA.
